The breadsticks are without palm oil, non gmo, high content of edible fibers and of course in a package free of plastic. Cardboard packaging is recyclable. The bag contained contains a cellulose film made of wood pulp, which offers the same transparent appearance and feel as plastic. It is sustainable, biodegradable and made from renewable resources. As ecologically conscious producers we considered it our duty to avoid 100% the plastic in our packaging. Let us take care of our planet in which, let us not forget, we are guests and not owners. Die Stadt Thessaloniki wurde im Jahr 315 v.Chr. gegründet und erhielt ihren Namen von der Halbschwester Alexanders des Großen, Thessalonike. Ihre Entwicklung aber begann im Zeitalter des römischen Reiches, als die Römer die Via Egnatia bauten, die Thessaloniki mit Konstantinopel und Rom verband. Während der byzantinischen Zeit erlebte Thessaloniki ihre Glanzzeit und erlangte den Titel der zweitwichtigsten Stadt im Reich nach der Hauptstadt Konstantinopel. Im Jahr 1430 begann für die Stadt die Zeit der Türkenherrschaft bis zu ihrer Befreiung im Jahr 1912. Heute ist Thessaloniki eine moderne Metropole. Der weiße Turm (Teil der alten Befestigung der Stadt), die Ano Poli (Hochstadt) mit ihren typischen Merkmalen makedonischer und balkanischer Architektur, das Gebäude der Rotonda, die Plätze und byzantinischen Kirchen gehören zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt.
