Step by Step Instructions
- Step 1: Drain the snails from the brine and rinse thoroughly.
- Step 2: Sauté the onions in a saucepan with olive oil, add the garlic powder and the snails. Season with salt and pepper. Pour in the wine and vinegar, add the finely chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, rosemary, bay leaves and a bit of lukewarm water. Allow the ingredients to simmer on medium heat for approximately 90 minutes.
- Step 3: Serve in a deep platter.
