Melekouni is a type of nougat with honey made on the island of Rhodes and traditionally offered at weddings and baptisms. It is a healthy dessert, made without sugar. It is a nutritious and delicious snack for the office, school, gym or for your pic-nic basket. Its basic ingredients, the natural sesame seeds and thyme honey are combined with almonds, orange zest and spices. The result is a wonderfully delicious and aromatic dessert which contains all the nutritious properties of its ingredients.

More than 70 apiarists from the islands of the region collaborate with the company. Melissokomiki Dodekanese has founded and operates in its premises, a Museum of Apiculture and Natural Bee History, which is unique in Greece and one of the best in the world. The company's values lie in the protection and the spreading of tradition, the supply of quality products, respect for mankind and the environment, sincerity and last but not least, in collaboration.
