Step by Step Instructions
  • Step 1: Prepare the cheese buns. Pour the water in a saucepan, together with the honey and olive oil, and heat until lukewarm. Remove the saucepan from the heat and mix in the yeast. Mix well, until the yeast dissolves. Set the yeast mixture aside.
  • Step 2: Place the flour and salt in a large bowl. Mix well and add the yeast mixture. Start kneading until the dough becomes nice and soft. You might need to add some more water.
  • Step 3: Divide the dough into 8 pieces and roll into balls. Place the 8 balls in a baking pan lined with a sheet of baking paper and cover them with a towel. Leave them in a warm environment for about 20 minutes, until they double their size.
  • Step 4: After that, take a ball and open it a bit. Sprinkle with the cheese crumbles, close it again and roll it out into a strip. Wrap the strip in a helix shape and place the cheese bun back in the saucepan. Repeat these steps for the rest of the balls.
  • Step 5: Spray the helix-shaped cheese buns with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cover the cheese buns until they rise again and bake them in a preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, until crispy.
  • Step 6: Remove the cheese buns from the oven and let them cool on a cooling rack.
  • Step 7: They are served both hot and cold.

Orders can be also shipped to a P.O. Box or APO/FPO. In the case of P.O. Box, delivery will take longer than 7 days and in the case of APO/FPO, the delivery time is 4-6 weeks. Please note that all orders including perishable items are automatically shipped using 2 Days Delivery or Next Day Delivery (working days Monday to Friday) to ensure your product arrives in superb condition (Ground Shipping is not available as an option).
