Step by Step Instructions
- Step 1 :Sauté ground beef over medium-high heat and 4 tablespoons olive oil until ground beef starts to brown and crumble, add the onions and continue cooking until browned. Add the tomato paste and stir well. Deglaze with the white wine and cook for five minutes. Add the beef stock, cinnamon stick and season with salt and pepper. Cook on high heat for 15 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Step 2 :Place pita bread on baking sheet, top with ground beef and bake in 350 degree oven for 5 minutes.
- Step 3 :In small bowl mix the katiki cheese and yogurt. Spoon on to pita and garnish with parsley and pepper flakes.
