Step by Step Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the rabbit. Heat the olive oil, place the rabbit in the saucepan and sauté for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown. After that, add the onion, garlic and carrot and sauté for another 5 minutes until they soften.
- Step 2: Pour in the wine and wait for 1-2 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate. Then add the following ingredients: the vinegar, fresh tomato sauce, molasses, salt, pepper, bay leaves, thyme, cloves, cinnamon, raisins and 1-2 glasses of water. Make sure the food is covered and cook for 30-35 minutes, until the rabbit is tender and separates from its bones.
- Step 3: Finally, add the cheese 5 minutes before the cooking process ends. Remove the saucepan from the heat and serve immediately with fried potatoes or rice.
