Step by Step Instructions
  • Step 1: Prepare the pie. Place the flour, the baking powder, the salt, the pepper, the cumin, the cinnamon and the thyme in a large bowl. Mix very well and set the bowl aside.
  • Step 2: Put the eggs, the sour milk and the olive oil in another bowl and mix very well. Add the mixture into the bowl with the flour. Mix very well and add the pumpkin and the cheese. Mix everything very well and set the mixture aside.
  • Step 3: Grease a rectangular baking pan, approximately 20cm x 30cm , and sprinkle with half of the quantity of the bread crumbs. Empty the pie mixture into the baking pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle the rest of the bread crumbs over the mixture and bake in preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 45 minutes, until the knife comes out clean when you stick it into the centre of the pie.
  • Step 4: Remove the pie from the oven, wait for 20 minutes for it to cool off, cut and serve.
