Step by Step Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the chicken. Place it in a saucepan with water. Add salt, pepper, the onions, carrots and olive oil, and boil for 40 minutes until the chicken is ready.
- Step 2: Remove the saucepan from the heat. Take out the chicken, onions and carrots, and put them in an ovenproof dish.
- Step 3: Sprinkle with the gruyère cheese and thyme. In the end, add a piece of butter over each chicken breast.
- Step 4: Bake in a preheated oven at 180°-200°C for about 10 minutes, until the meat gets golden brown and the cheese melts.
- Step 5: Serve the meal hot.
