Product Description
The Rovies’ olive grove, with more than 100 years of history, is protected from the strong north wind, but exposed to the sea breeze of the Evian Gulf. This is where these excellent quality edible olives are produced. The ʺRoviesʺ green olives are the greatest representatives of the variety known as ʺKonservoelia of the Rovies areaʺ. This variety offers large olives that are collected relatively early. Based on the traditional recipe, they ripen in brine and thus acquire their crisp flesh and unique taste. Stuffed with blanched almonds, they are ideal as an appetizer or as an accompaniment to salads, pasta salads, legume salads and so much more. Slice them and add them to your canapés - a real treat for your guests!!!

Product History
Olives are considered to be the most important fruit in the Mediterranean. A symbol of peace, serenity, fertility and rebirth, the olive tree truly is a “gift from god“. Since ancient times, the olive tree was awe- inspiring due to its capacity to never dry out: new shoots sprout from the dry trunks and in this way, the tree is regenerated once again. In Greece, several varieties of edible olives can be found, namely the olives from Kalamata, Amfissa, Thasos etc. The color (green, brown-violet, black) depends on the degree of ripeness of the fruit. Scientific studies have confirmed the high nutritional value and the antioxidant action of edible olives, as they are rich in fiber, minerals, monosaturated fats and vitamin E.
