Step by Step Instructions
  • Step 1: Prepare the beans. The beans should be soaked in water from the previous day. Boil the beans in plenty of water and some salt for approximately 1 hour, until very soft. Drain the beans and keep some of the water in which they boiled, you might need it later for the hummus.
  • Step 2: Prepare the hummus. Place all the ingredients in the food processor and blend to a pulp. If the hummus is too thick and you can't blend it, add some of the bean water. Be careful when adding the extra liquid, because once the hummus cools, it thickens.
  • Step 3: Refrigerate the hummus for approximately 1 hour until it is nice and cool. Sprinkle with some paprika, garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and serve.

  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
