Step by Step Instructions
  • Step 1: Salt the fish.
  • Step 2: Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan and then add the onions, the potatoes and the carrots. Cook on low heat for 15 minutes covering the saucepan with the lid, and cook until the ingredients become tender.
  • Step 3: Arrange the fish in layers in the saucepan, starting from the biggest.
  • Step 4: Pour water in the saucepan until the fish is covered and cook on medium heat for approximately 15-20 minutes.
  • Step 5: Carefully remove the fish using a slotted spoon and place it on a platter arranging the vegetables around it.
  • Step 6: Strain the soup through a colander and serve in deep soup plates.
  • Step 7: You can optionally drizzle a bit of lemon juice over each dish before serving.
