Step by Step Instructions
- Step 1: Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and add the onion. Cook until soft.
- Step 2: Add the frumenty and water into the saucepan with the onion. Cook the soup for about 20 minutes. Add the thyme, salt and butter.
- Step 3: Heat the olive oil in a nonstick frying pan and sauté the sweetbreads until tender.
- Step 4: Pour the wine into the frying pan with the sweetbreads and wait 1-2 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate.
- Step 5: Add the salt.
- Step 6: Serve the frumenty with the sweetbreads piping hot, in deep soup plates..
