Step by Step Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the sandwich filling. Put the tuna, the corn, the carrot, the onions, the dill, the peppers, the lettuce leaves and the pepper in a bowl and mix well, until the tuna breaks up and the vegetables are evenly combined.
- Step 2: Add the cheese, some olive oil and mix until all the ingredients are covered.
- Step 3: Spread out a fair amount of filling on a slice of bread and then cover with another slice of bread.
- Step 4: Press the sandwich slightly so that it sits beautifully, cut it in the middle and serve.

- 150g white tuna in water from Alonissos
- 3 spring onions (finely chopped)
- 1tbsp fresh dill
- 1 Florina pepper (finely chopped)
- 1 carrot (grated)
- 150g corn
- 5 lettuce leaves (cut into strips)
- 300g xinomizithra cheese from Crete PDO
- 4 slices of bread from a village-type round-shaped loaf
- ground black pepper
- some extra virgin olive oil
