Step by Step Instructions
  • Step 1: Wash the tomatoes and scoop out the tomato flesh into a bowl.
  • Step 2: Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion, rice and tomato flesh adding salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low heat for 10'.
  • Step 3: Add the tuna together with the rest of the herbs and simmer for another 5'.
  • Step 4: Place one basil leaf at the bottom of each emptied out tomato and stuff them with the tuna and rice mixture.
  • Step 5: Bake the stuffed tomatoes in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees C for 40-45'.

  • 150g glazed rice
  • 100g tuna in water
  • 100ml extra virgin olive oil
