Step by Step Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the pumpkin. Place the pumpkin in a bowl and add the brown sugar, the cloves and mix well so that it is covered. Wait for 10 minutes for the ingredients to be drawn into the pumpkin and lightly marinate it.
- Step 2: Heat the olive oil well. Roll the pumpkin sticks in the flour, shake the excess off and then place them in the frying pan with the olive oil.
- Step 3: Fry for a few minutes on all sides until they get golden brown and soft, however, not to the point that they melt. Place the pumpkin sticks on paper napkins to drain.
- Step 4: Arrange the pumpkin sticks in a platter, drizzle with honey, sprinkle with the icing sugar and the cinnamon and serve.

- 1kg yellow pumpkin (cut into sticks 2cm thick)
- 2tbsp brown sugar
- 1tsp ground cloves
- 100g all-purpose flour
- some extra virgin olive oil
- 4tbsp thyme honey
- 1tsp ground cinnamon
- 40g icing sugar
