Step by Step Instructions
- Step 1: Soak the beans in plenty of water overnight.
- Step 2: The following day drain the beans in a strainer and let them boil in plenty of fresh water.
- Step 3: Add the tomatoes, tomato paste and thyme.
- Step 4: When the beans have become soft, add all the vegetables to them in the saucepan.
- Step 5: Finally, add the olive oil and seasoning and spread the pickled grape vine tendrils on top.
- Step 6: Serve hot in deep soup plates.

- 1 onion - finely chopped
- 4 carrots - sliced
- 200ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 bunch of celery - finely chopped
- 5lt of water
- 150g vine sprouts
- salt
- pepper
- 2 twigs of thyme
- 700g medium beans
- 200g whole tomatoes
- 60g tomato paste
