The flours come from the ancient Greek variety of dikokko wheat from a stone mill and the natural unprocessed sea salt of Kythira. The organic emmer wheat rusk has the following nutritional characteristics: Low content in sugars High contain in proteins, which help to maintain muscles and bones in a normal state. The nutritionist suggests dipping the nut instantly in a bowl of lukewarm water to make it more digestible. Then add half a teaspoon of olive oil, to supplement with the beneficial vitamin E and good olive fats. Finally you can sprinkle with oregano to take advantage of its antiseptic properties. With this simple recipe you will enjoy the dikokko wheat rusk and you will receive its nutritional properties.

Product History
Die Geschichte des Zwiebackes geht zurück bis in die Antike. Er wird auch als „dipiritis artos“ erwähnt, d.h. Brot, das zweimal gebacken wird. Der Zwieback hat sich aus der Notwendigkeit des Alltags von Bauernfamilien ergeben. Da die Frauen nicht nur im Haushalt, sondern auch auf dem Feld tätig sein mussten, gab es nicht die Möglichkeit, täglich frisches Brot zu backen. Stattdessen haben sie gelegentlich größere Mengen frisches Brot gebacken und den Überschuss dann nach ca. 2-3 Tagen ein zweites Mal im Ofen gebacken, bis das Brot völlig ausgetrocknet und deshalb auch länger haltbar war. Es gibt verschiedene Zwieback-Sorten, die aus verschiedenen Mehlsorten hergestellt werden. Aus den einfachsten Zutaten hergestellt, hat Zwieback einen hohen Nährwert, da er viele Ballaststoffe, Vitamine des B-Komplexes, Vitamin E und Spurenelemente enthält.

Harry Tzortzopoulos is both a conscious organic farmer, but also a contemporary businessman. He makes use of the local production generously offered by the land of Kithira and promotes his products in the international market, packaged in a most original and beautiful way, thus continuously being awarded prizes and distinctions for both product and packaging. The trademark of his company, ASTARTI, is the symbol of the olive tree fruit in Linear B script.
