Product History
Pasteli ist eine traditionelle griechische Süßigkeit mit Sesam und Honig, die seit der Antike bekannt ist. Das Hauptrezept für Pasteli besagt, dass man zunächst den Honig kocht, dann den Sesam dazugibt und dabei die Mischung gut verrührt, damit die zwei Zutaten gut vermengt werden. Danach wird die Mischung geformt und, wenn sie abgekühlt ist, in Stücke geschnitten. Pasteli ist äußerst kräftigend und nahrhaft, da es Vitamin E, Kalium, Magnesium, Phosphor und Eisen enthält. Es gibt zwei Sorten von Pasteli-Riegeln: dickflüssige, die mehr Honig enthalten und knusprige, die mehr Sesam enthalten. Heutzutage gibt es aber auch viele andere Variationen mit Nüssen, Trockenfrüchten oder anderen zusätzlichen Zutaten.
